Dr. Zachary Osterholz (or "Dr. O" to his furry friends) believes that the best veterinary care doesn't happen on a cold metal table, it happens on your sofa, in your backyard, or wherever your pet feels most at home. A 2019 University of Illinois grad, Dr. O’s journey to your front door took him from the dairy farms of Wisconsin to the Serengeti of Tanzania and the Alaskan tundra. While he started in ecological research, he realized his true calling was the hands-on magic of animal medicine and the special bond we share with our pets. After years in traditional clinics, Dr. O is hitting the road to bring a more personal touch to veterinary care. By focusing on individualized care in a home setting, he’s able to provide a stress-free experience for his patients and a more relaxed, thorough consultation for you. He has a soft spot for geriatric care, ensuring our senior companions stay comfortable and happy in their golden years right where they belong. When he’s not making house calls, you’ll find Dr. O embracing the Colorado lifestyle, hiking the Rockies, testing out a new local craft brew, or getting dusty in his woodshop. He lives in Littleton with his eclectic crew: Frank, a rescued black lab mix; Feta, a spunky new orange kitty; and Fifi, his two-year-old Samoyed and resident "fluffy princess." Dr. O is thrilled to be starting this new mobile adventure and can’t wait to skip the commute to meet you and your pets in the comfort of your own home!

CANCELLATION

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit without penalty.

The House Call deposit of $149 is nonrefundable if the appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled visit.
